A little bit about my study abroad
I will be studying International Affairs and Spanish in the town of Bilbao. Located in Northern Spain, Bilbao is on the Bay of Biscay with a population of 348,000. It is the 10th largest city in all of Spain. Bilbao is part of the region called the Basque country, which is green, lush and full of rich history. The city itself is urban and metropolitan while still being surrounded by mountains. Bilbao is also home to the infamous Guggenheim Museum. Another distinctive characteristic is that the locals of Bilbao speak the Basque language "Euskara" which has no similar ties to any other language spoken in Spain.
