Last day in Bilbao

It's officially my last day here in Bilbao. It's absolutely wild to imagine that I have been here since January. To be completely honest, I'm not ready to leave yet. I have loved living in Bilbao and have gotten used to living a laid back life, becuase I have realized that Spain truly does prioritize quality of life. The people who I met in January have become my family away from home. I think that's what makes leaving so bittersweet, the people have truly made this journey one of the best. I couldn't have imagined it without them. I hope that we will all be able to reunite again soon!

To be honest, I am nervous about coming back to the United States because the culture shock is going to be very interesting. I have gotten so used to my life in Spain that I feel as if I am going back to a whole new place. To make matters more interesting, I'm not even going back to Oregon yet, because instead I'm going to Flagstaff for a while. The campus will be very empty which will be sad but it will give me time to slowly transition back into my old way of life.
