Last day in Eugene!

The first official blog post! Unsurprisingly, it has not fully set in that in two days I will be headed to Spain. I am all packed (which I think I did way too early) and antsy to start this new adventure. This will be my first time travelling abroad by myself and I am looking forward to the challenge. One of the biggest things that I am looking forward to will be arriving and walking around to familiarize myself with the area. I will be definitely put right to the challenge of using my Spanish right when I get there. The first thing I have to do is figure out how to hail a cab in Spanish! The short drive to my apartment should be seamless.

Once I get settled, I will start orientation and meet the other US students in my program. Myself, and one other student (Payton) are the only NAU students in this specific program. Some of the universities that other students are coming from are familiar while others are not. Either way, I can't wait to meet everyone and get acquainted.
